NEBBIA X EVLS PRAGUE 2021

After a three-year break, the EVLS professional fitness competition took place in Prague again on Saturday, November 6 at the Hilton Hotel. Athletes faced each other in 6 categories: fitness bikini, women's figure, men's physique, classic physique, 212 bodybuilding and men's open. Famous names such as Anton Antipov, Roelly Winklaar, Samson Dauda and Czech representatives such as Pavel Beran, Miroslav Juríček, the Linhart sisters and many others also performed on the stage. The winners shared a sum of $ 45,000 and a 5 kg bronze trophy. NEBBIA, as one of the main partners, was there to support the athletes and document the whole event! OUR JOURNEY TO EVLS

We took off to Prague on Friday at 7AM. In addition to the NEBBIA team members, we also travelled with two of our NEBBIA girls: Klaudia Mikitková and Denisa Tran Vanová. The girls had a themed dress code. They dressed in brand new outfits tailored exclusively for them by our head designer Stanka. The 6-hour train journey was 100% team building, and each passenger on the train took notice of Deniska and Klaudia's beautiful #NEBBIAgirls outfits. We took photos, filmed and handed out discount vouchers to fellow passengers.

ACTION ON THE ROAD

A-one-of-a-kind competition also took place in our NEBBIA store in Westfield Chodov in Prague. Not as big as EVLS, but just as enjoyable. Everyone was welcome to come to meet the founders of NEBBIA and the icons of the Czech fitness scene Lucia Březinová and Tomáš Gašparík. We also hosted a fitness challenge there. The contestants had to do as many push-ups as they could in under 1 min. They were encouraged by our NEBBIA girls and the whole store staff. The winner was excited to receive a € 150 voucher!

NEBBIA EVLS CHALLENGE

As the main partner of EVLS, we also shared a booth with the organizer. Visitors could buy limited NEBBIA women's and men's fitness clothing with the EVLS Prague 2021 logo. In addition, we also prepared a NEBBIA photo wall for visitors. During the whole EVLS, we hosted a fitness challenge in Biceps lifts. It was a magnet for all visitors, both men and women. Everyone wanted to compete and get a package of prizes from NEBBIA and Extrifit, which we prepared for all competitors. The four winners with the highest number of lifts received vouchers worth a total of € 500!

NEBBIA ATHLETES ON EVLS

EVLS was simply epic. Professional bodybuilders, fitness, staff and moderators took care of a great spectator experience. The music, lighting, stage and ambience of the Hilton Hotel were very professional and represented the thorough preparation of the organizers and sponsors. However, during the event, we and the entire bodybuilding world were hit by the sad news of the sudden passing of Shawn Rhoden. The organizers did not hesitate and together with the audience shared a minute of silence for Shawn.

Roelly Winklaar. A name that attracts crowds. The winner of EVLS 2018. Meeting him at the NEBBIA stand was a huge deal for many members of our team. Roelly seemed calm and peaceful, he told us about his trip, his stay in Prague and his ideas for new men's fitness clothes. Roelly is modest and very friendly, so he didn't say a "no" to the fans' wishes to take photos with him. Roelly competed in the Open category, in which he placed 5th out of 14 competitors. Congratulations, Roelly!

In addition to Roelly, Anton Antipov also made an appearance. You might recognize him as the face of the men's collection 1965. He is not very well known in our Czechoslovakia region yet, but he sure is big in America as he competed 5 times at the Olympia already. Among the 17 participants in the Men’s Physique category, Anton won an amazing 4th place. Another NEBBIA athlete, Miroslav Juríček, also competed in the same category. Miro placed 10th even though he was in very good shape. Congratulations to both athletes and we’re keeping our fingers crossed for upcoming competitions.
